How long does setup take?

About five minutes, plus an optional download so your computer can transcribe episodes itself.

Can I set up the phone first?

Yes. It waits for your computer, and ticks each step off as it gets there.

What if I skip the computer for now?

Your phone keeps a Connect card on Today until a Mac or PC is online.

Do I need an AI before I start?

It helps. If none is there, the app shows you the one line that installs Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode, then checks again. You can also use an API key.

Where do I get the apps?

The App Store, Google Play, and signed downloads for the Mac and Windows from your account page, which shows each link as soon as it is out.
